Frequently asked questions.
What is your style of family photography?
I focus on relaxed, natural moments. Rather than stiff posing, I guide you in a gentle way that brings out real smiles, laughter, and connection. The result is photos that feel genuine and full of personality..
We’re not great in front of the camera, will that be a problem?
Not at all! Most families say this before their session. My approach is easygoing and playful, so even the most camera-shy little ones (and grown-ups!) end up having fun.
Where do sessions take place?
Most of my family shoots are outdoors in beautiful Dublin locations, where kids have space to explore and be themselves. At-home sessions are also an option if you’d like something more cozy and personal for newborn photos.
How long does a session last?
A full family session usually lasts up to an hour, giving us plenty of time to capture a variety of natural moments without feeling rushed.
Do you offer shorter sessions?
Yes! A few times a year, I run mini sessions. These are short and sweet, perfect for families who just want a quick update of their photos or who prefer something simple. Minis are very popular and always book up quickly, if you’d like to hear when they’re released, you can join my mailing list.
What should we wear?
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable. Neutrals and soft colours photograph beautifully, but I’ll also send you a style guide with tips on coordinating outfits without feeling too “matchy.”
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
This is Ireland after all! If the weather isn’t suitable, we’ll reschedule to the next available date so you still get the photos you’ve been looking forward to.
